President Hu Jintao Sends Condolences to Saudi King over Bombings that Hit Saudi Arabia

On May 14, 2003, President Hu Jintao sent condolences to Saudi King and Prime Minister Fahd Ibn Abdul-Aziz over suicide bombings in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, which killed and injured many innocent cilivians of both Saudi Arabia and the US.

In the message, Hu expressed, to the Saudi King who is also the Prime Minister and the Saudi government and people, the Chinese government and people's indignation and condemnation at the terrorist acts, and extended sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims of the bombings.

Hu stressed that the Chinese government firmly supports the efforts by Saudi Arabia and the international community to fight terrorism.
